Startup Liaison Intern

We’re looking for a passionate Startup lover with a feel for business models and a touch of economics to help shape the future of the Startup Programs at TNW.

At TNW we work with startups from all over the world, we meet them at our conferences, we connect them to investors, brands, media companies etc.  and we look at data to see what the world of tech is excited about. As Startup Liaison intern you're reaching out to startups and help them to onboard into our programs and build up a lasting relationship with them.

The role

Are you passionate about startups? Do you know a business model just by looking at the name and tagline of a company? Do you want to help our tech database Index grow and startups to make valuable connections? Then, we have a match!

Startups play an vital role in the tech scene and in the strategy of TNW. Next to our Startup Liaisons – who currently manage the entire process of our startup programs – we are seeking for someone who is passionate about startups and could make a great contribution to the success of our platforms.

The position starts on February 1st (or sooner if required)

As part of your responsibilities, you will:

  • Support the team in improving our relationships with startups. Everything we do is triggered by our desire to increase the satisfaction of the startups entering our programs.
  • Be responsible to assist our team during the process of scouting, reviewing and on-boarding  startups.
  • Help coordinate the process of connecting startups with relevant companies.

  • You'll be responsible for the online program part, including outreach, onboarding, communication with startups, customer service and more.

  • Good understanding of (recent) developments in tech and startups, know the tech community well and have preferably worked in tech yourself.
  • You're deeply curious about new technology and innovation and their roles in our society, work and lives. Eager to learn, adapt and perfect your work; you seek out help and put it to good use.
  • You have great research and communication skills.
  • You are organised with an eye for detail and know how to streamline large amounts of information.
  • A good balance between team player / self-starter. You need to work cross-department to achieve a range of goals. At the same time, you need to be able to get things done even when there’s no one around to help.
  • Perfect written and spoken English, preferably native.

  • Work in a super smart environment. Meet and get in touch with some of the greatest thought leaders and most successful entrepreneurs in the world of tech and business.
  • Learn about the different startups and founders that are relevant and leading in the tech world today, as well as the trends and developments they’re driving.
  • Great autonomy, as well as real responsibility for one of the most essential parts of the TNW Conference.
  • Get a membership for TQ, the tech hub we opened this year in collaboration with Google, and other leading players in tech.
  • Be part of one of the fastest-growing teams within TNW.
