Spaces Operations Intern
TNW is a leading international tech media company founded in 2006. We write technology news (millions of monthly visitors to thenextweb.com, host events (such as the TNW conference with 12.5k visitors), collect and analyze tech startup data as well as operate tech spaces in Amsterdam.

As a Spaces Operations Intern, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This is a hands-on position where you will gain valuable experience in various aspects of event management, administration, facilities support, and community/reception services. You’ll be an integral part of our team, contributing to creating an exceptional environment for our community members.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Management: Assist in planning, organizing, and executing events, ensuring all details are handled with precision.
Administration Support: Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient operations, including handling correspondence, maintaining records, and coordinating meetings.
Facilities Support: Assist in maintaining the facilities, ensuring they are clean, safe, and functional for our community members.
Community/Reception Support: Be the first point of contact for our community members, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Business Management, Facilities Management, or a related field at a Dutch Higher Education Facility / University.
Strong hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent community/people-facing ability and communication skills. Great organisational and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in English; Dutch is preferred but not required.
Available full-time (5 days a week) starting November/December 2024 for 6 months.
This role is full-time (5 days a week) on site at our office on the flower market (Singel 542, 1017AZ Amsterdam).
