Sales and Business Development Internship

We are looking for a high-potential and ambitious student to join our team as a Sales and Business Development Intern. You'll work side-by-side with our Head of Business Development in driving sales and generating new business. You'll be direct point of contact for many of our corporate partners, and develop skills needed to bring a deal in from start to signature.


About us

TNW is a tech media company, founded in 2006. So far, we hosted TNW Conference for 12 years in Amsterdam and today it’s one of the most influential tech conferences globally. In this slipstream of the conference, we launched, our new site, that in 2017 keeps more than 10.000.000 people updated on tech's most fascinating stories each month. A year ago, we opened our own co-working space together with Google in the heart of Amsterdam; TQ. Last but not least, we built the startup database Index, the main data source for our projects.

In the TNW X team, we're working on connecting startups and corporates through a variety of innnovation projects and events. Your role

  • Create business opportunities together with our corporate partners like Deloitte, Dell,, Google, Philips and many more;
  • Identify new potential business partners and turn them into happy clients;
  • Rock client meetings and provide an killer follow up;
  • Take a deal from 0 to signature;
  • Regular contact with our partners to discuss progress of their projects;
  • Create stunning looking proposals (we'll teach you!);

Your profile

  • Being registered as a student during the course of the internship;
  • A special interest and/or experience in innovation/technology/startups;
  • Comfortable in both corporate and startup world;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Next to a high IQ you also have a very high EQ, you can read the minds of our partners;
  • You're a networker, comfortable talking to people and getting out there; 
  • You’re passionate about startups, business models and you have a commercial mindset.
