Online Marketing Internship:

You would like to kick off your career in Online Marketing? Why not do it at The Next Web?

We'd love to have an online marketing intern join our marketing team to help us out with a ton of stuff, write a newsletter or transactional email in the morning, set-up some messages on social media and help us blog more about our own efforts. We could use your help promoting our latest session on TNW Answers through improvements on the site and all our channels making all teams involved go home happy!

Who will you be working with?

As part of the marketing team you’ll be working a lot with us, we're specialists on either our own projects: TNW Conference, TNW Deals, the rest of our team is focused on providing even more value through Media by working on SEO, PPC, CRO and web analytics. But as you’re promoting the work of all the teams at TNW you’ll be also guided by our events, sales, development/product and editorial team.

What will we teach you and how can we help you?

The marketing team at The Next Web consists of specialists in multiple business areas. We have copywriters, online marketeers, conversion optimizers, SEO, a web analyst and project managers to make sure all our projects run flawlessly. We could teach you for example about: SEO, PPC and web analytics. Actually even juggling if you spend time with our CEO (@Boris). So, plenty of way to make sure you’ll have an amazing internship at TNW HQ.


  • Improve the daily, weekly and breaking newsletter with the editorial + marketing team.
  • Set up AMA sessions with speakers on TNW Answers with the editorial, events team.
  • Manage the promotion to our users for TNW Answers.
Who are you?
  • You love social media and are able to work at a fast pace to share the cool things we do every day. You can build communities around the things you love and work on.
  • You have experience using Google Analytics.
  • You're interested in online marketing, you can explain SEO, SEA to us or future colleagues.
  • You love copywriting and talking to the people at The Next Web about what they work on.
  • You love thinking how we can come up with new ideas to promote The Next Web’s brand.
  • You don’t mind proofreading the content that colleagues wrote.
  • You preferably have experience in working with Adobe Photoshop (image editing).
  • Your English is perfect.
  • You live in Holland – we are based in Amsterdam (TQ Amsterdam)!
