Business Development Internship

We’re looking for a passionate tech, biz dev and sales lover with a feel for innovation, touch of business models and excellent computer skills to help shape the pipeline for our Global Partnerships Team. With this position you will be assisting the media and conference business units. Thinking 2 steps ahead, being a team player and showing eagerness to learn all build a strong case for success at TNW.


At TNW we work with leading tech/finance/consulting/lifestyle brands from all over the world and help them grow exponentially. As a Business Development intern you will be an essential part of the teamIf you are available for at least 5 months (starting as soon as possible) and looking to grow exponentially then we are looking for you!

The role

Partnerships are a driving force behind the success of TNW. In this role you will be helping the company drive exponential growth in media and conference business units.

As part of your responsibilities, you will:

  • Talk to the biggest brands in the world
  • Support the partnerships team with scouting, reviewing and qualifying a list of prospects
  • Finding the decision makers, their contact details and establishing initial contact
  • Help to keep the sales pipeline filled

  • Scaling the outreach process

Qualifications

  • You are passionate about sales
  • Good understanding of (recent) developments in tech and basic knowledge of business models
  • You are eager to learn, adapt and perfect your work; you seek out help, put it to good use and think 2 steps ahead
  • You have great research and communication skills (humor and wit also a plus)
  • You are organised with an eye for detail and know how to streamline large amounts of information
  • A good balance between team player / self-starter. You need to work cross-department to achieve a range of goals. At the same time, you need to be able to get things done even when there’s no one around to help
  • Perfect written and spoken English, preferably native.
  • Have at least 5 month to enjoy the best office in town (and some damn good coffee)

  • Must be able to focus as rogue drones fly overhead
